Beto Vivas is a copywriter, creative director, and communication entrepreneur, with dozens of award-winning works, including the Clube de Criação de São Paulo (São Paulo’s Creative Club), Prêmio Abril, and Profissionais do Ano from Rede Globo, in several editions. In his career, he has worked at agencies such as Ancona Lopez, MPM, Propague, JWT, FCB and Propeg. He founded Z. Publicidade in Brazil, in an operational agreement with Z. Publicidade from Portugal and later Vivas Comunicação in 2004.
As a businessman, he consolidated a communication group with his own and affiliated companies: Vivas Comunicação, Hubox Digital, Remix Live Marketing, and A Gente, which today are part of the Tudo Com group, with presence in Curitiba, São Paulo, and Lisbon.
During this period, he worked with clients of all sizes. In telecommunications, Telemar, Oi, GVT and Portal Pop. In the food area, Nestlé, Kellog`s, Batavo, Café Cocamar, Frigoríficos Bizinelli and Vapsa. Before opening Pellicano in NY, Ciro has worked as a copywriter, creative director and vice president at advertising agencies in Brazil, Latin America and Europe. Winner of national and international awards (10 Lions at the Cannes Film Festival, plus 1 Special Jury Award; Grand Prix at the Ibero-American Festival; Grand Prix at the Tokyo Festival; Grand Prix at the Rome Festival, 5 Clio Awards, among others), Ciro was also the communications director of two Italian TV channels, as well as member of the Procter & Gamble European Core Group and president of the São Paulo Creative Club (Clube de Criação de São Paulo).
Among the brands he has already worked with, participating in the internationalization process of several of them, are AMBEV, TV Globo Internacional, Globo Licensing, Globoplay, Globosat, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Fiat, Ford, Renault, Toyota, Alfa Romeo, American Airlines, British Airways, Smirnoff, Banco do Brasil, EMBRATUR, Bradesco, Mastercard, Johnson & Johnson, Levi Strauss, Avis, Philips, Danone, Dish Network, Sling TV, Comcast and Directv. As a second activity, Ciro has published six books of aphorisms and short stories and has collaborated on Brazilian newspapers and magazines in the advertising and general interest areas.
As a creative director and art director, Luis Christello has worked in several advertising agencies in Brazil and Portugal. He participated in the 'movida' of Portuguese advertising in the 90s, winning the historic first gold lion at the Cannes Festival for Portugal. He was a partner at Z. Collet Dickenson Pearce and Partners in Portugal and Upgrade in Brazil. Over three decades, he has won 6 Lions at the Cannes Festival, 1 Gold at Eurobest, as well as Distinctive Merit from the Art Directors Club of New York and 1 Clio Award, among others.
In Brazil he won the Design Grand Prix at the National Columnist Awards.
He has served important clients in Brazil: Petrobras, Renault, Nissan. In Portugal: Petrogal, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, among others.
Christello also develops a work as a 'visual artist'. He has had individual exhibitions at the Gallery of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, RJ.
He won the Itamaraty Prize in Brazil. In Europe, the Montblanc Prize - Belgium Jewish Museum, Brussels.
